Sumisho Montblanc (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka), the manufacturer and distributor of business uniforms, annually holds an exhibition show for clients.

This exhibition intends to present not only regular product lines but also new products for sales agencies dealing in uniforms for restaurants, food plants and medical institutions. Users have attached great importance on features such as durability, uniformity and cleanliness for their uniforms, but nowadays, in addition to these features, they tend to prefer products with high added-value, such as customized elements, differentiated designs, etc. "The needs for highly specialized functionalities and design diversity will continue to expand, so we must take that into consideration consistently." Under this concept of President Dohi, Sumisho Montblanc is developing new products every year.

Year 2010 exhibition was held on February 4 and 5 in Tokyo and 9 and 10 in Osaka, at which products were exhibited in 14 zones under different themes. This year's main theme was the "Environment," under which carbon offset uniforms were exhibited (introduced in February 2010). Many visitors favorably responded, saying they were willing to introduce carbon offset uniforms since it would contribute to mitigating global warming. For the food industry, "the food service zone" exhibited a total proposal for uniforms from kitchen to service staff, "the meal service zone" exhibited uniforms that meet diversified needs for company, hospital, school and other meal service industry and "the food plant zone" exhibited uniforms for staff supporting delicatessen and home meal markets that are steadily growing. The medical uniform zone exhibited a "basic nurse" series, one of their core product lines, "「TOTAL TEAM HOSPITALITY* zone," which we are the first to introduce into the market. "Stylish design" and "Printed wear" exhibited uniforms including a stylish series and printed series targeting clinics and private hospitals, under the anti-white concept that is now gaining popularity. Each zone got favorable comments from visitors.
