- What is the main business of your company?
- We are engaged in automobile finance business in Mexico. We have the head office in Monterrey and seven branches in major cities, and deal with more than 300 car dealers of many brands, to offer automobile loans to final customers. The. Automobile loan companies are roughly divided into two types: "captives," which belong to an specific brand of vehicles, and "non-captives," which are affiliates of trading companies, banks, and other non-brand companies. We belong to the latter type.
- What about the atmosphere of your workplace?
- The competition in the automobile finance industry is fierce, and it is crucial for non-captives like us to develop a good relationship with dealers to win among the competition. Because of this challenging environment, we work in an exiting team based atmosphere at all times, and we maintain fluid communication among ourselves, and every employee works unfettered and energetically.
- Is there anything that surprised you about the Japanese working style?
- Because I had been working with Japanese clients when I was in my previous company, there was nothing in particular that surprised me. I think that Japanese attitudes toward working and customer care philosophy are very important for us to survive in the business world. Their working style is something that we cannot find in any other countries in the world.
- What is your personal goal at the company?
- I would like to further build my career and take a more responsible position. My main goal is professional growth and career development.
