- My responsibilities are to manage insurance related to a whole range of services offered by SCOA and to consult with and provide advice on insurance to Group companies. This involves a variety of tasks including those related to dealing with insurance companies and brokers and keeps me quite busy every day. The business of SCOA is so diversified that I feel like I am working for lots of different companies, which I find interesting and challenging.

- Would you give us a few more details about insurance management?
- It is related to purchasing optimal insurance against multiple assumed risks. Risks vary depending on business fields and types, ranging from property damage during transportation, product-liability which is defective products causing accidents and injuries, and compensation claims resulting from them, fires or natural disasters such as typhoons or earthquakes and there are numerous types of insurance programs specifically designed to meet such risks and claims. In the United States, product liability suits are often filed claiming damages from corporations, and for many of these insurance are needed to cover the compensation. In this way, insurance plays an important role in facilitating business.

- Would you tell us about your photography?
- About eight years ago I started taking photography trips to national parks in the United States. I spend about ten days in one location, taking landscape and scenic shots at various spots. Out of the more than ten parks I have visited so far, Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming has left the most lasting impression.
