Time management training sessions held
With Ms. Joanna Sook Ja Park invited as guest speaker, training sessions were conducted for staff in Class-A key career positions working within Japan in 2005, and 90.3 percent of the target attended.
Thereafter, workshop sessions have been held for small groups of those in Class-B and Class-C key career positions, clerks in Sumitomo Corporation and young employees within the Group.
SCG Counseling Center
To offer mental health care for employees of the Sumitomo Corporation Group, the SCG Counseling Center was established in April 2005, in the Harumi Triton Square where the Tokyo Headquarters are located. At this Center, in-house counselors (senior industrial counselors) help employees to promptly identify and solve various problems. It has become common for employees to casually visit the Center before they are struck by serious mental problems. Every year, Employees more than 300 in total use this counseling service.
SCG massage room
The "Koriton" massage room was opened in the Harumi Triton Square in April 2008 as a place where SCG employees can receive relaxing therapy. It has become popular because it is a quick relaxation service accessible at leisure during working hours.
WLB seminars held
A series of seminars on various themes have been held for SCG employees to raise their WLB awareness.
