Joint Business in Cosmetic ODM Business in Japan between Intercos S.p.A and Sumitomo Corporation Group

Intercos S.p.A (Headquarter: Italy, CEO Dario Ferrari), Sumitomo Corporation(Headquarter: Tokyo, Japan, CEO Kuniharu Nakamura), and Summit Pharmaceuticals International(Headquarter: Tokyo, Japan, CEO Kenichi Nakamura) have agreed to start Joint business related to Cosmetic ODM in Japan.
Cosmetic market (retail base) in Japan is said around US$24-25 billion, and expected to continue the market growth, under the In-bound demand in addition to the organic growth. And there is some new trend that the Japanese Quality, including quality control/assurance are highly appreciated by consumers. Cosmetic OEM, ODM industry in Japan is also expected to take more roles/functions for the further market growth in Japan, under the various market changes, such as the shortening product development time, various new comers from different industries into Cosmetic market.
Intercos is the leading company in the global ODM(original design manufacturing) market, active in the production of Color Cosmetic, Skin care, Active Ingredients and Toiletries.
