Sumitomo established a Toyota dealership in the Ukraine in 2004 that has sold a cumulated three-year total of more than 20,000 cars.

Manila, the capital city of the Republic of the Philippines is home to three elevated city railways (total length of 45km), used by nearly 1 million people every day. Sumitomo is also involved in providing overall maintenance services for the safe operations of Line 3, and has made other significant contributions to all of the rail projects in the metropolitan Manila area.
